We spent a week at Shandrani with family and absolutely loved it! The views are simply magnificent — the hotel is in a bay with more than 5 beaches, each with its own vibe (calm, rough, etc). Since it’s in a marine protected park, you see so many types of fish. Make sure you go for the glass bottom boat — go to the boat house at 9am to register because the queue gets long, but it’s totally worth it! You can dive and see all kinds of fish. Water ski is free and on a first-come, first-served basis. We didn’t try the kayak but all water activities are free.
One cool thing is seeing planes take off right near the sea — especially when a big A380 flies by, the view is just amazing. All the staff were super welcoming and well trained. Oh and if you see paella on the buffet — don’t miss it! It’s honestly the best paella we’ve eaten anywhere.
